Who (you are)

You are a committed couple that feels some distance or tension with your partner. Maybe you’re curious about couples therapy, maybe you’re waiting for the right provider, but you’re not in crisis, you’re just not as happy as you know you can be.

And you’re ready to join 2-3 other committed couples, like yourselves, all willing to be a little bit vulnerable and a lot bit interested in improving communication and connection.

Small print stuff: This is not therapy, nor is this a replacement for therapy. This is not the group for you if you are seriously considering divorce or if there is any history of violence. You’re welcome to reach out for other resources.

What (we’ll do)

Next group starts July 17th, 2022 at 4:30pm!

Every Sunday for 6 weeks, we’ll meet virtually for 90 min. Course participants will hear insights about core relationship concepts and how those can be put to practical use - even before the meeting is over! We’ll have time for small group discussions and questions and yes, sometimes we’ll practice skills with our partners in break out sessions or maybe even in front of the group- but only if you’re both feeling brave and you’ll always have my support!

Couples will get the week’s agenda and some insightful questions each week a few days before the session with suggested articles or videos to explore. Readings and videos are optional and totally not required for participation but are yours forever to reference and come back to.

What (it costs)

Six weeks of expertly facilitated sessions packed full of information and weekly emails with even MORE information is $1,400/couple.

That’s nearly half of my regular rate and you’ll be getting the most salient pieces of therapy knowledge that I go over with every couple. In addition, you’ll be eligible to participate in two free half hour webinars- one on “The Magic Phrase Every Couple Should Know” and another “How to Pick a Couples Counselor”.

We’re sold, how (do we get in)?!?!

Afterwards, I’ll send you a link to pay with the first week’s videos and questions to ponder- it’s easy!

Small print: Payment is due in full and no refunds will be allowed after one week prior to the start date of the group and no reduction in rate will be offered if you miss a group. If it is determined by the facilitator that you are not safe to be in the group- either with your own partner or with other participants- you will be asked to leave immediately and no refund will be offered. You will absolutely be given resources for additional supports. Participants will receive a list of agreements that will guide privacy and conduct expectations for all members.

Who (I am):

Hi, I'm erin copley, LCSW. For the past 15 years, I’ve worked in both public and private clinical social work. In my private practice, I work primarily with highly functional (some would say overly functional) adults with anxiety or trauma exposure to help them feel calmer and more grounded and couples who are struggling to navigate communication or trauma. Like most social workers, I utilize a social systems and feminist perspective and integrate insights from neurobiology along with my own observations and experiences. I also provide consultation to help other practitioners see the connection between the personal and the political and put that insight to use to produce radical shifts for their clients.
