Adults with ADHD

First, you’re not alone and your brain’s not broken: it’s just a bit shinier!

If you can relate to any of the following, you might already have an ADHD diagnosis:

  • there are 15-45 tabs open on any browser in your computer and potentially three new business ideas lined up

  • you spend ages trying to decide what to wear but never hesitate in an emergency situation

  • you have an incredible memory for a good story but also can’t remember where your keys are

  • you’re super-sensitive to any ounce of rejection or demand and have to talk yourself down from BIG emotions

ADHD is a cluster of symptoms that - put together- may explain why the inside of your brain feels like a lit up pinball machine with anywhere from 1-13 balls pinging at once. It can be exciting and fun, but it’s also tough to slow down, to regulate your mood and - shall we talk about that shame spiral?

Many of my clients come to me with suspicions that they have ADHD- not a diagnosis. We can work together to determine if an ADHD diagnosis fits and what that means for you. From there, we can build an approach to the things that drive you nuts about your brain without taking away from any of the beautiful shiny parts. It starts by trusting yourself enough to get some support.
